Winter time at the ZOO

We decided to check out the Detroit Zoo in the winter.  Our first time visiting in the winter and it was actually really nice.  It was quiet, not many people there and every animal that we wanted to see was out.  Seeing the camels in the snow seemed so funny, though!  We thought they looked pretty silly...aren't they supposed to be in the desert???!?!?  The penguins were waddling and playing, the frogs were fun to check out...there are so many different kinds of frogs! The butterfly house was neat, the butterflies were quite active flying all around!  Brooke would look closely when they landed.   We finally got to the Polar bears and  Brooke fell asleep.  So, I watched one of the bears all by myself (and took pictures, of course!).
The frog was covered in snow...how silly!
She enjoyed all the interactive things in the Amphibian house.
