On Saturday evening we went to the school where our church meets (Carkenord Elementary) and tried to fly Brooke's ladybug kite from Uncle Shawn and Aunt Derica. They got her this kite a couple years ago for Easter and we thought this was a perfect year to try it out. Brooke had fun, she lost interest fast...but it was fun to watch Daddy get the kite in the air and Brooke would sit on the bleachers and cheer him on! It didn't stay up long, the wind kept dying on us! Oh well, we will try again soon.
