Aunt Vicky is such a good party planner.  She is the nanny for Eve and the twins.  They call her "Tee Tee!"  She does such a good job with them.  We are thankful to have her in our lives.

After the party Eve invited us to swim in her pool.  The girls had a blast swimming.

My friend/co-worker, Leslie, invited us to join her 3 kids in a bounce house in their back yard.  Brooke had so much fun!  We ended up going 2 days in a row. It was so relaxing to just hang out, that's what summer is all about.

Brooke loved all the princess dresses at their house.  Madison and Brooke dressed up and came down to show us how beautiful they are.

What a fun surprise, my friend Lauren (another teacher friend) came with her baby, Elliana! So sweet.

Looking at this picture makes me smile, I HOPE and PRAY Brooke will be a good helper and a HAPPY big sister some day!

                                                                            

Stony Creek walk

We decided to take a walk instead of going in the water, the breeze was cool.  We saw a lot of butterflies and moths flying in the sky. 

It was a pretty day.

Imaginative play

It is so interesting listening to Brooke play house with her dolls, or today she was playing with her princess game and she was having the princesses talk to each other.  I was doing the dishes and heard her talking back and forth with each character.
                         Cinderella:  What's wrong? 
                         Belle:  It's ok, don't be afraid!
                         Ariel:  Jesus is watching over us!

TOO CUTE!!!!  In my  moments of frustration and feeling like a failure as a parent, then she does something like this.   I think, ok she IS learning something good!!! :) 

Later in the day I was reflecting on this and I started to pray..."Lead this child in your ways, give her strength and wisdom to continue learning.  Help us keep your words in our hearts, and continue sharing with others.    Jesus is by our sides in EVERYTHING we do.  Thank you Jesus for our daughter Brooke.  Help Matt and I be the BEST parents we can be.  We love her so much!"
