Pinkalicious

Part of being Special Helper is bringing home a bag filled with activities.  The book Pinkalicious came home in the bag and also the Pinkalicious Doll!  Brooke was very excited to read the book right away when we got home after school.
It's so much fun being Special Helper.

Tears in my eyes...every time I look at her I CAN'T BELIEVE how fast she is growing!

Special Helper today

Today was a big day for Brooke at Preschool!  She was "special helper" and oh, was it fun!!! And, as a parent watching oh, was that interesting.  It was so precious and I smiled so much!  3 and 4 year olds really are cute and funny!!!   Special Helper gets to be in charge of everything for the day.  She got a special badge necklace to wear and put 3 smiley face stickers for her age on it.  She then got to sit on the couch with Mrs. Bercel.  She picked out the books to read and the songs to sing. She got to be the leader when they went to the gym to play.  It was rainy today, so they didn't get to go outside.  She also got to pick out a character and book to bring home in a special bag.  She has some homework to do, some math and some letter G things to find.  She picked the book called Pinkalicious, so Pinkalicious (the character) came home with us too and she is in her bed sleeping with Brooke right now!!! In the writing journal we have to tell all about the adventure we had with Pinkalicious.  She also got to do calendar. And, bringing the snack is part of the role, too!     So, we brought blue jello-jigglers and pretzels.  The jello was a hit, I felt bad that I didn't make more so they could've had 2 pieces.  Now I know for next time!

GO BLUE tailgating with Kari

My cousin Kari is a Sophomore at Michigan.  My Aunt Shelly, Uncle Stewart, and Kelly live in Ohio and came to visit their daughter and sister.  We all had fun tailgating.  Aunt Shelly made delicious pancakes and Matt made sausage and bacon.  Aunt Shelly brought yummy fruit too...apples and bananas.  Thank you Rea family...we love you so much!
Ok, she looks like she's at least 5 years old here...girl, slow down already!

She is getting so good at catching balls, a football is a little awkward, but she did catch it a few times.

                                                    Our MICHIGAN family...GO BLUE!!!

It's been a long week!

She was a tired girl tonight.  She loves laying on our bed and watching a show before bed.  Her new favorite is "Lazy Town."  She always asks for a "snack and juice" and her blanket, too!

BIG yawn!!!!    Good night, off to get my beauty sleep!!!

2nd week done, still loving her new school

I just picked her up from school, HAPPY girl!
